From the property, you can head east for a short 40 minute drive to Winslow. Flagstaff is a little over an hour to the west and you can be in Phoenix (Arizona’s largest city) in around 3 hours.
This property had easy access while it was dry but looks like it could be a challenge if it’s wet. We advise a 4WD but anything with ground clearance could make it in. We spotted some possibly wild horses on the way in but they dipped into a depression before we could film them. The area is extremely arid and has some interesting rock outcroppings nearby. When you enter from the road to the north, you climb a short hill with a rock ridge and then it opens up and is completely flat.
Whether you prefer the desert or the mountains, you’ll have plenty of options for outdoor adventures. Barringer Meteor Crater, Coconino National Forest, Petrified Forest, and the Grand Canyon are all nearby. From the property, you’ll enjoy views of the majestic San Francisco Peaks to the west.
Ready to build your homestead? This property is zoned for a single family dwelling, manufactured home, or a tiny home on a permanent foundation. You may also use an RV or travel trailer as a permanent residence with a county permit.
